I found this spider...not in a garden, but in my basement... wondering what kind it is. It's really, really fast so I'm not taking it out of it's container, haha. :)

This appears to be a wolf spider (family Lycosidae) - note the enlarged front pair of eyes. They are active hunters that often wander indoors; large specimens are capable of inflicting a painful bite if mishandled.
