Was walking along the tracks today and spotted it.
It wasn't flying around too much, not sure if it was hurt or it's wings are just for short distances and it was tired or what.

CLOSED: Found it near the train tracks in Ontario, what is it?
Though I don't know for certain, I think it is the sabre wasp or Giant ichneumon fly/wasp. That nasty looking thing is not a stinger but an ovipositor.
Megarhyssa macrurus or related?
