i found these red bugs on my lavender and daylilies. there are hundreds of them. all sizes. the little ones are all red, the larger ones that have black on their backs.
does anyone know what they are? are they eating the plant or eating something that eats the plant?
thanks

Hi,
I'm pretty sure these are Box Elder Bugs. The larger adult can be seen hiding under the nymphs.
