Brunfelsia americana & Brunfelsia Nitida Clarify please

So the question is - are these different Brunfelsias or one in the same? Please and thank you for any insight to my lame-o question. ^_^

According to what I can find, they are different.

From what I can tell it seems B. nitida is from Cuba and B. americana is from the eastern West Indies.
