Lilies of the yard

Here are pictures of lilies that I planted last year after enjoying them as potted plants.

Here's another one.

And one more. These white lilies bloomed about a week after the red varieties lost their flowers.

Lovely! I find some potted at our local Walmart once in a while. They do seem to do quite well.

Beautiful! I like the ground cover beneath the lilies too. What is it?

Hello Sherrygirl. The groundcover is a variety of sedum. I'm not sure what the botanical name is, perhaps someone can fill us in. I brought back several little pieces from my mother's yard last year and it didn't appear that they were going to do anything. I guess it just takes a while for them to get established because it went crazy this year.

Pretty! Your sedum might me this one. I grow it and it does spread fast, but easy to pull up if it gets places you don't want. I use it under daylilies and lilies both.
