I've had tons of the larva just riddling the leaves of my roses... now I found this fly like thing and I was wondering if it's the actual sawfly
CLOSED: Is this a Sawfly?
These appear to be true flies (order Diptera), possibly flower flies (family Syrphidae. Adult rose slugs (sawflies) seldom are noticed, but would look like the image at http://nathistoc.bio.uci.edu/hymenopt/Sawfly1a.jpg
OK.. cool.
I was a little worried there
*S*
Thanks
