I just wanted to let you all know Armando, (Giancarlo), died last week. Hap, a personal friend of his, (Happy_1), had visited him in the hospital in the last month and just let us know he passed. I know I so enjoyed all of his photos and was always struck by the absolute love affair he had with all of his beautiful plants. I am sure all of the regulars who are part of the PlantFile community are aware of his contribution to PlantFiles. I thought you all would want to know so you can mark his passing in your own way.

It has been. They are in the process of trying to get more information. I posted it here because Armando was so active in PlantFiles. I had traded with him in the past but I mostly knew him thru his PlantFile submissions. He got me interested in Aroids once again just thru his stunning portraits of them.
