I've got literally hundreds of babies growing in my yard [grass] .... and wanted to 'pluck' some out and plant them.
any idea how they would take?
If they'd do well, i could give a bunch away too.
Thanks in advance,
Terese
Do MG's transplant well?
I wouldn't pluck them, you want to disturb the roots as little as possible. You probably would have to dig out a chunk of dirt with the whole root. MGs are tempermental about transplanting but it can be done.
thanks Beth... I'll give it a try ... otherwise they all will just keep getting run over by the lawn mower.
I'm thinking they are still small enough that the root shouldn't be that long yet.
