I am trying to figure out what this bug is. It is out on my fence around my pool and this is also where I have my very small garden and I wanted to know if they will try to bother my tomato or squash plants. Any help would be much appreciated.
CLOSED: Small red and black insect with large antennae
These are so small that it is difficult to be certain, but these could be newly hatched nymphs of an assassin bug (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Reduviidae), such as the wheel bug, Arilus cristata - see http://creatures.ifas.ufl.edu/trees/wheel_bug_03.htm
