Howdy everyone.....
Just got home after a very busy morning....DD and I went all over the place shopping, first to Lowe's where she got some Thompson water seal for her new fence, then to the pet store for much needed food and treats for the hungry masses here, looked for a bread discount store to find it has been shut down..(wondered why I couldnt find it anymore), to Dollar General to stock up on detergent and bleach (super low prices on that stuff)..checked out a new Asian Supermarket..was totally shocked at the LOW prices there on produce, especially, and fruits..like 99 cents for huge artichokes, garlic...5 in package for 79 cents..everything was super low so I think we may start going there once in while to take advantage of those buys...that put us in the mood for Chinese lunch so went to our favorite Chinese buffet and had some good food...now I am home, tired and full and broke....and in need of a nap.
It wanted to rain a little while we were on the road but it was just enough to dirty up the car more. That little bit isnt worth mentioning , but I figure it might be the last for a while. I have run out of rain water in one set of barrels, probably have about 100 gallons in the tank..that wont last long in this heat. Needing to do some serious rain dances here...Mommie..want to join me?? Bonnie, too..more the merrier..
Here is my little brat, Floozy. She was just a few months old when she first came here, brought by her big brother, Red..She loved sleeping with all the boys around here, hence her name..she never wanted anything to do with the girls, tho. She has such a personality, but not much of a lap kitty or cuddler..just hates that, but I am trying to get her to relax a little and enjoy it..I catch her purring once in a while when I am holding her and scratching her neck, but seems as soon as she realizes what is going on..off she goes. Yet, she comes right back..almost like she is teasing me..
She is a little scrapper, I think from being mostly raised my Red, but he is out most of the time now, while she is an inside cat..so is learning some girly girl stuff..like how to nicely beg for kitty candy, etc..LOL
