I love TV---yes I know it's wrong. But I love TV. As Lisa and Bart Simpson said to Homer--"Of course we love the TV more than we love you, it spent more time raising us!" So sad........:0)
how to raise keets?
I don't watch much tv either....used to...but now we only have 2 channels....and they don't want to come in most of the time....so I don't bother.
Catscan...I used to watch all the time too...and my DH didn't.....so he is just about tickled that I now have to spend my time doing other stuff.....well....that was before we got the pc! LOL : )
My DH has it on 24/7. We have DISH network because he wants it, so I do along with it. But the only program I insist on watching is the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in February. Other than that, I find very little to hold my attention. I would rather read a book. And, now as ladybug says, there is my PC and the Internet. LOL

For some reason the only thing that quiets my TV jonesing is sitting outside watching the chickens. Verrrrrry therapeutic.
I've heard chickens can be very addicting as well....... : )
I'm afraid so.....DH is about to shake me down each night looking for hatching eggs. But I have hatched my last for the summer......If summer starts on June 21st, when does fall start?
LOL.... : )
I'm new to forums...this was my 1st one...but I think maybe they might just be addicting too.....
Yep, they are...VERY!!!

Granny - thanks so much for that recipe! I am sure it will come in handy.
Well now that this one has gotten bumped up.......it reminded me to update. We still have the 3 keets and they are doing really well now. Now I have no idea why we lost so many to start with. (lost 9) They got soaked in the waterer, then I put rocks in the waterer to stop that, then later read that doing that is the right thing. Then I read just yesterday....never ever let your new keets get wet or they will die......so maybe that was why and are maybe lucky to have the 3 left. Also, tf said that if it was cocci that was killing them, then give them milk....and the 3 that got to drink it are still here......so who knows what caused the losses? I know next time I will be a lot better prepared. When they get a little older I'll have to figure out what I have......or maybe now? I'm pretty sure that 2 of them are pearls and the other one is a very pretty light silvery gray color.....any ideas?
