I was expecting it to bloom much later in the season because my friend who gave me the seeds said it would. I had hoped to see the whole cluster bloom at the same time like in photos I have seen but maybe it will come later. I am enjoying this one. I planted a white one too in later April. I am really excited about that one.

Very lovely bush, Dorothy. I wanna see photos of the white one too! :-) I have one, but is is poking along in growth. Probably because the garden bed it is in is over-crowded with other plants.

Becky, the white one is still in a 4 inch pot but it is time to more it to a gallon. Not sure if I will get blooms on that one this year.

That is really neat, it looks so much like I. andersoni from the photo before it is enlarged..

I also have a tiny rooted cutting, that is taking it's time growing that is for sure.
