Diana, I think it's a lovely bloom.

jordankittyjo, your's might be macrorhiza, a species, white with a
dark eye. Just a guess on the id and I'm unsure of the spelling.

Wow! Does it bloom at night? Definitely smaller than the I. alba vines and blooms that I have grown. Where did you get the seeds for it?

Your vine is Ipomoea turbinata, and you will get lots and lots of seeds.

Here are a couple of photos of my blooms from a couple of years ago.

Diana,
The blooms are only about 2" or so on the Ipomoea turbinata, however, the White Ipomoea alba has really nice large blooms that are very fragrant -
and the Hummermoths love them

First year for me to try growing the vine.
I get three moons in number, and now they are just in flowering buds.
in the beginning when i got the big seeds, I thought they were some kind of bean' s or tree's, but the label says it is the moon flower. I can't help waiting to see how small the flower is at all.

Hehehe yes Jianhua...fun We have a race sometimes..to see...lol...Now it is your turn...lol...you planted in the ground from the start..So I think your flowers will be bigger then mine...hehehe...They are just so different...I like the color...too...but where they got Lavender?..I do not know...hehe..
