I was so thrilled to see several assassin bugs on my roses, every time I was one I said "Eat, baby eat"
Then my hubby came along and said he didn't see a proboscis.
So do I have a good bug or bad bug?
CLOSED: I thought it was an assassin bug - now I'm not sure ?
This is a nymph of a long-horned grasshopper/katydid (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) - see http://www.cirrusimage.com/Orthoptera/katydid_nymph_2.jpg
Oh darn!
Well tomorrow they die
Thank you for your help
