Forgot what this tree was - think it's a pine.
Anyway it grew over the chain tied around it years ago.

That's going to be a real nightmare for some poor sawmiller in the future . . . imagine what'll happen to a chainsaw or a bandsaw when it hits that!

It's no wonder that most sawmillers won't touch urban trees.

It was just yesterday that I was walking around the area looking at all the great gardens and plant life and I noticed a tree like this. You know them metal cables that help keep some power lines standing? Yeah on of those cables was running right in the the middle of the tree about four feet up...I tried to find the exit wound but could not.
