identifying bloom shape on roses

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

I added a plant to the plant files on roses (Peach Belle) but I don't know how to identify the bloom shape. there are several bloom shapes listed but how do I determine which one fits Peach Belle?

marsue, here's a list of rose terminology:

Thanks, Terry! I will check that out.

It occurred to me that we don't have entries for each type of flower form in Gardenology, and we probably should... If I set up the entries, maybe some of our resident rosarians would be kind enough to submit a representative picture of each type...hint, hint ;o)

I would certainly be willing to do that. Maybe you should post that suggestion on the rose forum, if you haven't already. ZuZu has more different kinds of roses than anyone else(more than a thousand!). She would be a big help in that department!
