If we started early, then there shouldn't be a problem. Have to leave a couple extra hours to catch the ferry back. LOL
Put in Some Giant Perennials
Well, how early is early for you? We could meet at the dock and take one car over and split the fair. I'll have to check the ferry schedule and see what the times are. I think if we got the 9 or so ferry, we could be back by noon or 1pm, plenty of time for me to make it.
sounds great I won't visit too much. I do have the fern leaf peony. I will dig you some brazen hussy since we forgot last time. I think your orb garden will lokk cool.. why don't you try and orb garden all having a round shape. There is pittosporum golf ball. some of the barberrries are round shaped or I did like the idea of a desert garden like my grave area where I have jims shperes. It will be nice to see what you come up with. Heidi
Heidi - that's right. Thanks for remembering the brazen hussy.
Gordon - that sounds like a good plan.
Now that I see the color of that orb on this thread, Gordon, I think you simply must have Ricinus communis 'Carmencita'. The red foliage will completely bring out the color on that orb. A mass of really bronze fennel would work too, but you'd have to deal with the babies. Definitely find yourself a bronze colored plant. Definitely. Put Heidi on it.
