One time two years ago in mid to late fall I saw what appear to be a metallic silver spider on a old fashion bleeding heart - is this possible? I don't have any pictures of it.
CLOSED: Is there such a thing as a metallic silver spider?
In fact, two orb spiders of genus Argiope are known as “silver spiders”:
-Argiope argentata or silver Argiope

- Silver-backed Argiope Spider (Argiope florida)

They are beauty creatures, aren’t they? And very useful, besides
Yes those are beautiful!
