I have just discovered my first seed pod. Now I really need some advice as to how record keeping is done with JMG. I have figured out that op means open pollinated...right? What else needs to be recorded, such as where I got the seeds from, date planted, etc. I do this with all of my brugs, do you do the same with these beauties? Or am I just making this more complicated?
Melanie
I need some advice
Melanie - It's your plant. Feel free to document it however you wish. I do some documenting with lots of photos! Sometimes photos say more than words could. :-)
Here is an example of my new NOID am keeping track of on my garden blog:

I also do this on my own home computer to keep track as well. Not as much information as you could add, but be sure to add lots of photos of the different parts of the vine. Good luck!
Becky, you and I have some serious talking to do this fall!! LOL!!! Your noid is just beautiful!!
Thanks, Melanie!
I hope to get lots of seeds from my NOID to share. Unfortunately, it may be a cross as well, since this vine is not producing pollen as I had hoped so ... I am crossing it with different mounding/trailing MGs because I just don't have anything else blooming yet. But sometimes ya get some pretty cool MGs doing that! :-)
