Its feeding from Nerium Oleander, which shows how small it is.
CLOSED: Does anyone know this butterfly?
This butterfly is in the family Lycaenidae (gossamer-winged butterflies). It is in the subfamily Polyommatinae, commonly known as blues.
After extensive research, I've discovered that Lycaenidae subfamily Polyommatinae has not been recorded in Egypt and I'm still searching within the blues to see if I can ID. Thanks for the suggestion.
It's a Lycaenidae, but I think that it is subfamily Theclinae, or hairstreaks. I can see a thread-like extension that resemble antenna in the hind wing.
Carmen57 is correct - I overlooked both the wing extension (in my haste, I mistook it for a leg) and the locale where it was collected. My apologies.
