Would appreciate some advice as to when and how to cut some of our beautiful lillies to bring inside and give to friends. We have some orientals and some asiatics. Thanks!

when/how to cut lillies?
You can cut lilies any time, many people cut them when the first couple of blooms open. Try to leave about 2/3 of the stem to feed the bulb for next season.
Many times the tight buds will open after cutting, so do cut it when you just start having open blooms. You'll get LOTS more enjoyment out of the cut flowers that way.
