What's feasting on the hollyhocks?

I think it's some species of Bee Fly:

I was thinking it might be one the clearwing / hummingbird moths, like maybe genus Hemaris, but I don't know.

I thought this guy was a lot smaller than a HM, even his wings are short. Maybe j_b could get a pic of it's face.

Unfortunately, this was the only shot I got, fly_girl, before it flew off.

I don't think it can be a Bee-Fly, because I am almost sure I can see two pairs of wings. I think it is probably a bee of some sort,
