I have been reading through SmSpear's tutorial for my journal. I still don't understand it, but i labor on. What I would like to see is a calendar incorporated in the ToDo list, so I can remind myself of things that need to be done later on. Is there anything like that available?

What a great idea woodspirit1''

Woodspirit, once you set up your journal you can add a "to-do" to several items at once. For example, let's say you know you need to plant all your annual flowers on May 3 - you can create a "to-do" for all of them simultaneously.

Then on May 3, you can go to your "to-do's" sort them by date and see a list of what needs to be planted.

Does that make sense? Or maybe you're asking for something different.....

go-vols, that seems to kind of cover it. What I was hoping for was a monthly calendar (all months available) something like a garden diary. You could enter what you did or what you need to do. My sister-in-law gave me a garden diary in book form last year. Because it had plenty of room, I was able to reuse it this year. This let me see what I had done each week before and what worked, what failed, and what I needed to do now. I would love that even though it is really just for personal use, it might give newbies some ideas too.

Woodspirit, you might take a peek at my "Almanac and Journal" in my journal area. I confess I haven't made as many entries this month as I did in the previous months, but it does help me keep up with what I have accomplished, and what needs to be dones, as well as general climate data. In the past, I've used this section of my journal to create a future-dated entry classified as a "to-do".

At the end of the season, I plan to print this off, and keep a hard copy of it in a notebook with handwritten journals of years past.
