Hi all,
Two blue-point junipers - approx 10 years old and 15-20' tall - top of one a little brown - have sprayed twice, once with Bayer, once with Orthenex - not getting any better.
Finally today found about 3 cottony webs - brought them in and tore them apart - with a magnifying glass can see mites.
Researching now and realizing that I probably made the problem worse already by spraying insecticide :(
These trees are the focal point in the landscaping on the front of my house - the more heavily infested tree is still getting new growth, and I really want to save them.
Any suggestions for what to spray them with - everything says use a miticide, but what would that be?
Thanks for any guidance!
Hope in Central Texas
Mites on my junipers!
Go look at the labels on your insecticides, many things kill both insects and mites and it'll tell you on the label (some products will call themselves insecticide & miticide in big bold letters, but others you have to look at the fine print where it tells you what it kills).
