Just got my end of season sale box from Band D. I think they are beautiful! Well, I'm a beginner, so I think they are all beautiful. Still, plump and crisp with springy roots. Box had to wait in PO 2 days because replacement postman didn't know to leave it at my door, so they had warmed were rarin' to go with some with the beginnings of sprouts. The box contained 39 assorted OPs, trumpets, orientals, asiatics, 3 bonus longiflorum/asiatics, making 42 for $99 plus 8.95 for shipping. After reading your posts, Moby, I'm a little worried they won't settle in well, but we're near Lake Erie in zone 5b and the summers aren't too hot. Anyway, it 's an adventure! So, I ruthlessly moved the perennials from my best raised bed, dug in a bunch of rotted manure, planted the bulbs, then collapsed in the house and had a nice little cocktail. I'll keep you posted if they turn out okay. -Brian in Edinboro, PA

End of Season Sale at B&D!
I'm sure they'll be just fine. I hope my posts haven't given you pause ~ lilies are pretty resiliant and will be shorter this year but will be in full swing next year.
Good job, from beginning to end! ;)
Sounds like you got a good deal. I'll be looking forward to seeing some pictures!
Whoops! Maybe there weren't 3 bonus bulbs. Sorry, I was too excited to count well and ....they're all in now. ----Brian in PA
