Question for those who use Plantskydd

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7a)

I've used a number of spray-on deterrents to keep the deer from eating my lilies, but it seems that the deer eventually become immune (so to speak) to whatever it is I've used and just eat whatever I've sprayed anyway after using it for a short while. I now use one of the motion-activated sprinklers and have had great success.

I have another area of my yard that would be an excellent site for a small lily bed, but not a good site for a sprinkler. I've read recently about Plantskydd and I'm wondering if this works long-term or if the deer just avoid plants treated with this for a short while.

It's not foolproof but it's the best thing on the market. While it states that it's good for a couple months, you still need to spray new growth.

Does it stink to high heaven? There have been a few I used that kept *me* out of my flowers.

LOL It does smell awful but the odor is gone after it dries.
