Funny!
A Journey into Birdland ..........
Well named bird! I had to laugh along with it!
My favorite is the Green Heron also. Terrific collection, Linth.
Wow that is a big catch! Love the Yellow Warbler!
I know a lot of fishermen who would be jealous of that catch and the fact the bird doesn't have to catch and release!
My favorite was the female towhee, but that yellow warbler moved into first place. Great photos Linth. You made my day. Thank you.
It looks' like even the other Osprey is amazed at the size of the fish. Great catch, Linth! You are one amazing photographer!
Gorgeous!
Outstanding!!
For the past two days, I have been watching the architectural ingenuity of the Baltimore Oriole. It is simply amazing to watch the nest being built. In fact in some instances they use fishing line to provide added strength to the structure. That's easy to find along the shoreline. Once they have the main (outer) structure built they expand the nest by working from the inside out.
It really puts a new meaning to the term "bird brain" !!!
Thats beautiful Linth! Thanks for showing it to us!
I am so hoping to be able to see the oriole's nest!!
