Do you see them often?

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Great start for the new thread Wallaby and thank you for starting it!

Wonderful shots Dave...I know all these birds are pets and are trained to pose for you right?

Pelle and Mrs Ed...Congrats on your new birds from the previous thread. Pelle...I am still trying to get a pic of the Female Towhee!

Stafford County, VA

No, I don't see them often Pelle. But they seem to arrive every year just after the blues' first clutch has fledged, so they are here right now and actively looking for a house. The BBs have already started building a new nest in their house and won't let the TRES get close to it. I find the TRES very difficult to photograph. Something about their color and sheen, and of course, they don't stay put very long and fly in unpredictable patterns.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Sunshine...what darling pics...thanks for sharing them.

Nanny...Those Jays have a real thing for you!

Adel...Love those Orioles!

It froze last night!! I just put the Oriole and Hummer feeders back outside and refilled the birdbaths! We had record lows...now to take the plants back out and uncover the others! Spring is here? LOL!!

This is not the greatest pic but it made me laugh. These Eastern Bluebirds were wing-waving and they reminded me of "Dancing With the Stars" !!

LOL @ the 'dancing with the stars' Rose, the style looks disco! Birds get into the strangest positions, lol again :-)

angele, we don't have any bickering with the jays, either with other bird or among themselves. In fact the are rather timid and seem avoid confrontation.
