My C. obtusa 'Gracilis' looked great last year, but this winter it browned up, big-time. : (
The funny thing is, the bases of what I guess are petioles are green. I don't know if it's wishful thinking, but it seems to be greening up again. Is this possible? Should I set the date for a conifer funeral?
Will my Chamaecyparis survive?
I have to say I think it looks really nice in that two-tone, green and brown. To bad there are not everbrowns...
Sorry, can't see it surviving with that amount of dead foliage.
Resin
Wow, that is a shame. What do you suppose happened to it?
You know, I'm not sure what happened to it, aside from living just past the one year warranty LOL
There's a C. pisifera 'Filifera' five feet away from the 'Gracilis' that looks not especially happy, but it at least still has leaves.
Bummer.
