Hoya places

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

Seriously you guys are making me want to sell our house, and drag my kicking and screaming wife to points south.

I would love to have hoyas growing outside. But the best I can do is that for maybe 5 months of the year. From maybe around now, to October 1. But the rest of the year they have to live inside. Not that they are really unhappy inside, I just would love to let them climb away to their hearts content.

AD - you are from my old stomping grounds!!!! I hear spring/summer are late coming there.... feel for you, ADog...but you DO live in a beautiful part of the universe!!!! Enjoy the bulbs and Rhodies for me!!!!!

It is true. We do have great temperate weather.

Here, the only vines that climb trees that anyone talks about are Hedera helix the Boston Ivy, which is very invasive.

And seriously I need a trip to more tropical grounds sometime soon.

Do keep sending the shots, I love to see them.

Hi everyone,

WOW Carol those are beautiful pictures!!! I wish I could have my plants outside.

Thank you so much Mel, I’m glad you like the plants and their display.
You are right I really love animals. The bird, is a half-moon conure and he belongs to Alex, he has him since he was six weeks old. Don’t let him deceive you, he is very LOUD.
