Angelica gigas.......i so want this plant

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Well Vixens milk is finally coming in
They had to do a c-sec to get the last puppy out
Her milk has been real slow coming in
I've been doing a lot of bottle feeding
But this a.m. I fed everyone ,and all but one were pretty full already
The one blue at the top of the picture is the runt and
doesnt have the strength to compete with the others
Also doesnt suck well
He chews...or gumms the nipple
If I pull the nipple away he sucks though
He does the same thing to Vixen
If I hold him on one of her nipples he does ok
but if I let go of him he falls off or just chews

Back to the orginal subject Angelica gigas. I ordered 2 from Blossom Farm. They arrived today, and are just gorgeous. Big healthy plants. Only $5.90 each and the shipping was the actual cost. I will definitely buy from this place again. I had a question on the tag, and the owner emailed me right away with the answer.

blossom farm? and blpender, you are saying that you paid 11.80 period for two of those? and what were they growing in ...4 in. pots? are there stalks purple now?

Dowagiac, MI

I purchased 2 Angelica Gigas @ 5.90 each, one Black Pussy Willow for $8.90. Sub total was $20.70, shipping was $6.05 for the three.
The Angelicas are 8 inches tall (not including the pot). Here is a picture of one. Looks pretty good for only arriving yesterday.

Coos Bay, OR(Zone 8a)

the foliage alone is probably about 3-4 easy ft. the blooms stalks were well over 6'

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

well if CC doesn't have these available i might just get some from the company blpender mentioned. thanks for all the infomation.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I have'm
Just don't know which is which

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

well you said earlier that they are too big to trade by the time you can tell. how big is that? you know they have that long mailer. and if i don't have anything you want i will be happy to send postage. and i would like both kinds if you have lots. or shoot i will take them now and hope later if i don;t get the purple one that i can get some more seeds and hopefully can get those to germinate. i had a few left and i have them in the refrigerator now. maybe those will germinate.
