I was just trying to imagine how the goldfinch would transport the spider silk without getting it stuck all over its feathers and whatnot. What a mess!

I think hummers also use spider webbing ....ALMOST - but not quite - makes me feel sorry for the spiders......interesting theory about the bird spit Mrs. Ed!!

Well I don't believe it. I got home today, and sure enough, guess who was in my yard. I think they were looking for that sock I promised! LOL! I'm so happy to see them!

I just hung out a sock last week. I got it at KMart. It took the finches a day to figure out there was seed there, but they are finally eating it. Love the finches they are like sunshine with wings!

Thanks! Nothing fancy, just a Kodak z612 but it has 12x optical zoom. I am taking baby steps with the camera stuff.
