CLOSED: ID this LITTLE guy please?

Goldsboro, NC(Zone 7b)

I found a couple of these in my kitchen last night. There were about five in the sink but this one was on the wall. They were very small (maybe about the size of a pencil tip) and they can jump! I don't know where they came from either. The only thing I could think of was that I brought some plants in overnight but that was a week ago. Any ideas?

It must be a springtail. It looks like the onion moster of chadlawie, and it jumps, like springtails. They are lovely tiny creatures that generally feed on organic matter of soil

I think you're right. Thanks for helping me figure that out. Now if I could just figure out what on earth they are doing in my kitchen?? Could they be jumping off my philodendron? Thanks again!
