I think i took mine out of the green house too early. They all needed repotting I pulled them about 2 months ago, repotted, fertilized and waited have lots of inflos not the first flower. Some are still with out leaves. Its funny the plants stalk has grown 2-4 inches with no leaves. One was in the ground all winter never lost its leaves and is going strong.
Just waking up
The mixture of soils i used to repot was full of weeds seeds i have already pulled them twice and they keep coming. They love that dynamite fertilizer. Wish everything else grew like that.
Looking good, Dana. Those big tree trunks next to your in-ground plumeria tells me that it had overhead protection from the frost and freezing temps. Had those trees not protected your plumeria and had it been out in the open, it would probably be toast by now. Overhead protection from nearby trees is oftentimes how plumerias survive in zones less than 10.
You are proably right the palms did help out a bunch thanks!
It will be fun when the wake up, though, won't it? That big one sure looks healthy!
Looking good Dana! I recycle my soil too, and man is it hard to keep up with the weeds in the spring.
Have the first flower today finally lots more to come. Went to a tomato festival they had a man there selling ginger roots and curcuma they are pretty neat. I bought a nice assortment. They have a great smell too .
Passiflora of some kind - very pretty. Your plumeria are looking very nice, too! Can't wait to have a red one bloom for me, but I expect it will be next year.
Awesome blooms, Dana! Way to go! Thanks for sharing them. I like your passiflora too. I had several of them, but they threatened to take over my yard so I had to take them out, but they were lovely.
Clare I found a way to see to it you don't get over run with them. Plant them in a big pot and sink it third of the way no babies works for me or they are a pest thanks
LOL! I've had those before. They are just another leaf anomaly on these wacky trees!
That appears to be Passiflora incense - very prolific and very fragrant - nice Passiflora!
Your garden must be beautiful. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Love the red and yellow and that's a very pretty "white." lol
I really have to get an Aztec gold.
The weather here is off to a bad start it was reading 103 here at the bank weather man says high 90's the plants know it I just worry about the storms when the weather gets that hot look out Aztec Gold is one of my favorites that smell is just wonderful And heres my helper he goes with me everywhere
A face only a mother can love! My brother used to raise turkeys. I like the noises they make.
Beautiful pics, Dana. Thanks for sharing them. Your White #15 is probably 'Cancun Pink,' and your other pink is probably 'Key West Pink.' They look great, and I love your little helper!
You are never alone outside here If that is Key west pink I have a bunch of it. There was someone on ebay selling tips 10 at a time I bought 2 orders from them they would send you a dozen the first time and last order they sent 14 cuttings some were doubles half had inflos on them and are flowering also.So I have quite a few cancun pink I started off with a few of these and decided I don't like to wait for the flowers. So if you have quite a few you will always have flowers. Like chips can't just have one lol
Great pictures Dana, thanks for sharing. Looking at that turkey made me hungry. Juuuuuusssst Kidding! Bet hes good company.
