CLOSED: Moth ID needed

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

On my boardwalk, this one looked like a leaf falling. If it hadn't changed position, I would never have noticed. I have been unable to find a reference for this one. Can someone help?

I think it's called Erastria cruentaria

I do believe you are correct. I have found nothing else that comes close, and the food supply is good.

Thanks,

I agree, it is definitely Erastria cruentaria. I have created an entry for it in BugFiles: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/5080/ and hope you will add your picture,

Thank you. I was having a problem finding a place to put it.
