Well I am new to plumerias as well and I can not wait to try to start them from seeds as I have done with Brugs.....

Gardenpom, seedlings have tap roots and will probably be stunted by those small clay pots so you may want to repot them into the one-gallon black plastic containers so that they have more room for their roots;-)

My plumeria is starting to bloom, no inflos on the others. I'm not getting many buds, am I doing something wrong? This is the 3rd year I've had her and she doesn't seem to grow vey much.

Sami, inflo's grow and branch too so you'll get more flowers on that inflo. The bigger the tree, the more reliably it will bloom, if all its needs are met, and the bigger the inflo's will be. You're in Zone 10b so you can plant your plumeria in the ground in full sun where it will take off and become a beautiful tree! Lucky you! Just be sure to feed regularly and make sure it is getting full sun for the best blooming.

Thanks Clare, our clay soil is hard as a brick so I've kept my plumeria in pots. I have about 6 of them, only the yellow has bloomed. I think I should take some of them and put in bigger pots as you suggested to Gardenpom. I know one is a rainbow color that was given to me and think that should have a bigger pot too. The cutting was like a big Y when it was given to me and it took months before and leaves started to appear.

Thanks Claire, I will probably give most of these away before they become potbound, those I keep I will repot.
