I know some people are not partial to red/purple foliaged woodies, but 'Forest Pansy' is just too beautiful not to appreciated the color - nature's stained glass window when viewed with the sun behind the foliage.

I've always valued the straight species Redbud for its wildlife value and the blooms are quite showy however 'Forest Pansy' blows it out of the water in the looks department. Real show stopper because of the foliage.
