Can you all tell me a good place online to look at bog and pond plants? My husband is so excited about filling the pond that he can hardly contain himself. I want it to look good as soon as possible. It's not a big pond, so all I need are 2 or 3 plants, and a few things in the bog. He has even built a special catch basin with screens at the bottom of the rain spout. That's to fill the pond with and refill when needed. You won't believe what a complicated rig this is. Wires, water lines, new outdoor taps, 4 levels on the bottom of the pond, special overflow outlets, lol, he went nuts.
Pond & Bog Garden nearly finished
Sounds wonderful WS. You'll have to post some pictures. This site has a some good information http://theplantplace.com/ You might want to see if you can trade for some water plants before you go and buy them.
