Let`s see the sepals or side view of the flower and what was the plant`s growth habit? Was it a climbing vine or a shrubby plant? Karen

It is a vine and I have just watered so side view is a bit wet.

Hi annette68 - Is this a plant that you started from seed(?) and lost track of the ID or did you acquire this as an unknown cutting(?)...

The flower looks very much like Ipomoea muelleri

although the leaves on yours are more 'arrow shaped',but this could be a leaf variation...any seedpods developing(?)...

Does your vine twine(?) at all,or is it a trailer(?)...

Hi Ron it is a trailer as opposed to a twiner and it was a cutting that I acquired with no id. I am sure that seeds will be setting very soon.

I have someone on the quest for kakadu species, will let you know how I go.

Cheers Annette
