Laurel, maybe you can grow the faba beans this summer! and then dried them....for winter use...I can get fava beans here frozen from the Portuguese store, I wonder if I could get them to you somehow? The paella, sad to say, I use long grain rice because I can never get the Valencia arborio rice to cook well, and let me tell you I love that rice! Casa Galicia is a little far for me, my husband doesn't go to often, only when I decide to go visit my mom in Manhattan and he does not want to saty alone in the house. My girls, 14 and 16 do not like to go, I think they get bored! If you ever need spices or anything from Spain, try Despana brand store, they are on line and the owners are very good friens of ours. They have everything from over there! If you place an order, tell them Clemen and Javier sent you! Maybe they throw a freebie item, they always do that to us!

i used to shop on Steinway quite often.
i do not like New Haven.
i want to go back to TN, where i lived for a while, or KY, where i've spent a lot of time, or even good ol' STL MO where i come from.
O, and i went to LA for the 1st time in January. i know you're supposed to hate it, but all i could think is, "OK - i totally get why people move here!"
Wooster Street is the Little Italy here. Not a patch on the Hill in St. Louis.
Amy does Eric know how unhappy you are in NH? xx, C
yes.
He doesn't love it either. We have already been here for several years longer than originally planned. At first, it was ok, because i hated living in NYC so much.
New Haven isn't terrible - it just isn't much of anything. It definitely does not feel like home - even after 3.5 years...
Never been there Amy, hope it gets better for you! I know that once you are not happy somewhere, it is so hard to get used to it, been there too and MOVED! Clem
