I have not seen a live bluebird since I moved to the west coast, at least one that I can remember.
Beautiful birds.

Beautiful pics Dave! We are getting alot of rain!
The kids still doing well?
Aw how sweet! Thanks Dave!
Well, Mrs Ed, if you were wondering when they would start coming to the feeder. Well, this afternoon, all three were there on the deck, begging for mealies. Surprised me a little so I grabbed the first camera I saw and unfortunately the photo card was almost filled, so I only managed a few shots and they left before I could find another card. But I'll be ready for them the next time.
AWWWW, so precious!!! I especially like the last shot but their all wonderful!
Thanks for the update Dave!!
I'm beginning to get frustrated with this server. I have had at least six pictures fail to post. It goes through the whole drill, uploads and even tells me its been posted. But when I look, nothing.
Anyone else having this problem?
I haven't tried a series lately; I'll look around to see if anyone else is having problems.
ooo, So glad they are up on the deck.
I haven't had a problem with the servers in a few months. I contacted Terry back then but he said he had no complaints, etc.
I haven't posted anything today, so I can't comment.

Just a thought, maybe it is time to start a new thread? Could that have anything to do with the tech. difficulties?
These are wonderful Dave, thank you for posting the update! Some of us have never seen a BB fledgling and this may be as close as we will ever get.
Yah, that last one needs a Nanny Caption.
"Now listen Junior, this is how it's going to work… I'm going to stick these worms in your mouth…"
What do you mean you don't like mealie worms???
or
I work hard to give you a good meal, now eat it!
"Open the hanger, here comes the airplane…"
Sorry Dave, couldn't resist!
Or, there are birdies starving in other parts of the country, now eat everything on your plate.
Hi Dave,
Your photos are superb and your experience is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing with those of us that have never seen a blue bird. I followed the link you posted to the other forum and enjoyed the read there as well. I was on pins and needles with the earlier situation that you posted there. So glad all turned out well. Looks like Dad has made a complete recovery.
I hope you weren't close to any of those tornadoes that recently hit Virginia. My Mom is in Virginia in a little town called Bentonville. She said they bypassed her, thank Heavens!
I love your idea of putting the photos to a slide show. Have you ever heard of Phanfare? It's a wonderful site that I use for my own photos and I love the way I can add "stitched together" music to the shows, along with captions on the photos. The photos can be edited right there within the program also, if necessary. If you'd like to know more about it, send me a Dmail and I'll give you all of the info I know. Here is an example of what the program does. This is one of my own shows.

I look forward to seeing more of your adventures with these beautiful birds.
Thanks again for sharing your photos and adventure.
Janet
Thank you Janet. I just spent an hour loking at your pictures and then checking out phanfare generally. I finally bookmarked it it and will go back when I have more time.
Here is MAMA. I got her to pose in front of some flowers my wife had on the deck. Not sure how much I like the effect. Seems the flowers are too bright. Anyway, it's different.
She's a beauty Dave. The flowers are very nice, but they can't hold a candle to HER beauty! ^_^
Janet
Well, its time to tie a knot in this string. Hope to see you on thread #7.
Dave
