I planted my onion sets last Saturday. Monday morning I came outside and 90% were on top of the ground and some were piled together in sets of two and three. My first thoughts were birds so I stuck them back in the ground. Tuesday morning same thing. Wednesday morning same thing. It rained over an inch Wednesday night but still the same thing Thursday morning. I set out in the garden tonight to keep guard and saw the strangest sight. the onions appeared to come out of the ground on there own. On closer inspection I saw plants waving back and forth as earth worms (night crawlers) were pushing them out from the bottom and pulling them over from the top and dragging them away. What do they want with them and how do I get them to stop? Alan
