Pixie Lily

Columbia, TN(Zone 7b)

Saw these at the supermarket of all places yesterday! Label says they reach 15" height. These were in full bloom too. Anyone familiar with them? Hardiness like other lilies? They looked good for border fronts.

They are very hardy and reliable. I think the Pixie's breeder was Ed Mc Rae, if I am recalling correctly.

Molly , I love Pixie Lilies( I would right?) I have Pink Pixie, Buff Pixie, ect...and all have come back for me just fine.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I grow them in pots, Molly. I think they are wonderful. All colors are nice. I really love the white one.

These are a pale pink with a really good size bloom! Would they be Pink Pixie?

I'd be surprised if the Tiny Series made the supermarket bag. They are cute though.

Really though, aren't there just a ton of Pixies out there?

Pixie a bit paler and the label said they top off at 1'3" tall

A ton is an understatment! LOL
Molly, I'm not sure what Pink Pixie you have, but im sure you'll enjoy it. I am drawn to the dwarf Orientals too my favorite right now is 'Angelique' from Far Away Flowers. It is a powerhouse bloomer for such a small plant and smells great too!

Thanks Pixie. I hadn't realized they had so many going by the same (or similar) names!
