Problem with lily

Kalama, WA(Zone 8b)

My Orange art lily bulbs are coming up and one of them is a pale yellow. Should I give it some iron, or could this be a sign of a bigger problem?
I just planted them 2 weeks ago. They're in full sun. All my other lilies are coming up nicely.

Thanks,
Joy

I'm not sure ~ how long has it been up and how tall? Could it have gotten covered by leaves since you planted it?

With most plants that have yellowish leaves I find that mixing up some Epsom Salt will help darken them pretty fast. You can find it at pharmacy's, supermarkets and dollar stores pretty cheaply.

Thank you for responding Moby and Molly.

I just planted them 2 weeks ago. They're about 2 to 3 inches tall. No leaves or anything were covering them. They were yellow sense they started. I have some epsom salts, I use it on other plants. I'll try that.
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a more serious problem.

Thank you.

Good luck Joy. I'd like to hear how they do.

I'll let you know Molly. I watered them with epsom salts today. Hope it helps.

My lily has greened up nicely after watering it with Epsoms salts.

Thank you for your help.

That is good to hear Joy! Nice when it's a simple thing (and inexpensive!) thing to fix!!

Oh yes, it sure is. :-)
And I'm so relieved that it wasn't a disease or anything.
Really looking forward to seeing these bloom.

Would love to see pictures of it when it does!
