What small bulbs DON'T Squirrels like to eat?

Wow, Suzy, how long did that take you? I've learned so much from you about seeds already, and now all this-thank you!
Wish my soil was as good as yours-new beds=more rocks, more clay or glacial till....I've got to keep amending just to keep lilies from rotting. Some areas are pretty good now, and then there's the NEW areas. Good stress relief-planting by pickaxe. :(

Nice crocus, jxmas! Oh, good, Iris reticulata! I've been hoping that would be a possibility. I planted a mixed group of these with crocus this past fall, and some of the crocus got "disappeared" but it's been hard to tell with the iris-they didn't all bloom together.

Thought I'd share some of my blooming garden pictures from this year. Here's a lovely row of yellow tulips. Unfortunately, the blooms never actually got a chance to open.

And here's my Old House Gardens 'Peter Pan' Crocus, a day after a heavy rain. I did get to see most of these bloom-they were stunning, gorgeous white, and big, for a crocus.

Note the peanut shell (Kind of blurry, but there...)

How awful! And to taunt you with the peanut shell. Shameless!

Lol! Although, I think maybe the tulips in the basket were a mistake. :( I think it was like "drive-thru" for the squirrels who run along the fence all the time..

Want fries with that? LOL!

Oh, you poor thing! That is so sad...the headless tulips, I mean.

Yeah, I've definitely got squirrels with attitude...

At least the tulips have a chance to come back. The crocus are history once the bulbs have been eaten. :(

I think a bunch of Minnow or other miniature narcissus would look much better there for next year, maybe with blue Ipheion, or anenome blanda. This basket is on the fence that I see out the kitchen window, so I want bright and cheery there.
