Dug and waiting in nursery pots:
-- Leonotis menthifolia (mint-leafed lion's tail)
-- Lychnis coronaria (rose campion)
-- Coral-colored Salvia coccinea (coral Texas sage)
-- Dietes sp. (Fortnight "lily") -- large clump in a terracotta pot -- has buds!
Bring pot(s) (at least one-gallon size, mop-bucket, or bigger if you have it) for:
-- Rosa californica, native California Rose. These are 4-6' tall and THORNY. You may use my shovel and my rose-gloves... can use the pruners too, to get them to a movable size -- BUT you will probably lose this year's bloom, depending on how much you lop off...
-- one sprawly French Lavender, I forget what cultivar exactly... floweriferous! but has outgrown its space...
Small (any size) pots for:
-- Houttuynia cordata (chameleon plant -- pls read comments in Plant Files before taking!)
Bring newspaper to wrap the tubers of:
-- Iris japonica Ledger's variety, and we'll dig them on the spot!
Have enough for several people, of everything but the Lavender and the Dietes!
Plants may be picked up at the Open Garden this Saturday (4/5/08) -- if you can't make it that day but want to arrange pick up, let me know!

Free plants, must be picked up (Central Orange County)
Bumping this because I added a couple things to the list above.

Well, I wish you weren't so far away and that I didn't have a plant sale that day! I could stop by your place AND hit a couple of my favorite nurseries.

Sherry,
We are far (with gas prices so high!) -- but if you have an excuse to be "up" here any time in a month or so (not the last week of April), we can save you a nice big one! Wish I could just bring them all to Weegy's but I won't be able to attend her BBQ...

True, the gas prices keep me from getting up there as much as I used to...it used to be about once a week. Also so very busy lately. We will miss you at the BBQ!
