Here is the PF link. It isn't hardy in my area, but Frostweed and Debnes grow it and start it each year. This year the FW Botanic Garden had them at their plant sale.

As for the MW, the nursery her does have A. Tuberosa, but mine in the garden was slow to start growing this year. It was only a couple inches high when I first spotted the 2nd instart cats munching. So I got a few from the nursery to be prepared. I spoke with others and next year i will bring some in before the freeze gets them and root them. Then over winter in my shed so I will be prepared next year for the flight up from Mexico.
Butterfly Weed or Milkweed question
I started some A tuberosa this year without a problem. I just put them on the heat mat until they germinated. I think was a little less than a week. Of course, there are other seeds that I can't get to grow to save my life.
