Hi,
I found a few of these guys laying low in the nooks and crevices of my carpet. I believe them to be 'woolly bears' (the larvae of carpet-beetles, of whom I believe to have seen a few times also last year - this is a rented property). I did my best with the limited camera facilities that I have to get a good focussed, magnified shot so be forgiving to the image that I bear.
So, if anyone can shed any light on what they might be I would be very grateful so I can seek to be rid of these.
Many, many thanks!

It looks like the larvae of Carpet Beetle to me. I had the beetles in my garden last year on a Clematis. They can live in old birds nests, often in a roof cavity, I hope that's where mine went!
