Wayside is the only place to get it at this time. The creator just recently signed the agreement with them and when he told me, I ordered one right away.

Jana, no, it isn't. It is probably the newest hybrid to hit the market. It is called P. 'Sherry' and I'm not sure of the spelling of his name, but Frank Mosher is the creator.

Thanks Mark, I got on Wayside and ordered 'Sherry'. Can't wait to get her,,,.and of course I found about 10 other beauties. But , I was warned not to but clematis from them but to try www.Koigardenclub.com .Boy-o-boy it is the season to want everything I see !!!!!

Kathy, I heard Jeanne from Willis in the clematis forum say that Jerome"s grandmother died. That is why orders have been slow. FORGET EVERYTHING I JUST SAID !!!!!! that is a different seller. "sherry" is coming from Wayside,, correct?

I just bought 5 clematis from Lowe's !! $5.98...no shipping and they are blooming. yep-eee !!!

but I know I do that every year. I tend to get compulsive when I get really interested in something. I love to sew and I have made 15 new outfits for my 8 yr. old grandaughter in 3 weeks.
Capris and or shorts with tops. Now,, it's garden time.

jana, went to lowes and bought clematis. on my way home istopped at publix (high priced supermarket) and what a surprise. they had passi's about 8 foot long, and full of buds! they are red, and in need of water, transplanting and tlc. the price was right $15.00. i will post a pic. of mine tomorrow
O boy Kathy, don't you just love those beautiful passi's. I bought a red ( don't think it had a name on it) last year at Walmart. I am surrounded by 3 Walmarts all about 4 miles away from me in different directions !!!! One of them carries different plants from the other 2, and one has fabric.hahaha I am keeping an eye open for passi's so I won't need to order. I don't like to order and pay all that shipping unless I can't find it kinda close. But with gas 4.00 a gal. who know it may be cheaper to mail !!!

jlp, I looked at the link and love the little dress made from a shirt... It gave me lots of ideas. I am going to try one tomorrow if I can make myself get out of the yard. hummmm !!!! wonder if hubby will miss just one shirt??? I"ve made that same style using a reg. pattern but never thought of a shirt.

Would you need an adult shirt or a kids size one? I can send an extra shirt and some fabric I have for your effort.
I think an adult size would be better.My granddaughter is 8 yrs old but small for her age. I use a 5 size pattern for her clothes and adjust the lenght in the waist and hem. Be sure to sent me your measurements.

Wayside is sold out of Sherry.
Well, I finally got my order from Wayside and am so disappointed !!!! Puny little iris,, they should be ashamed to ship such awful looking things. "Sherry" is almost dead so small and weak.
I think the caladium thai is app. 1/2" tall !! I am not kidding. I will never order from them again and hope no one else gets this kind of plants. I litterly
threw that $130. away.

I know,,, it's such a letdown. I was so eager to get them and so dissapointed when they finally arrived. A couple years ago ,, I got on E-bay and ordered and ordered and ordered. I guess it was so new to me and I got carried away. Well, never again " I said to myself". This was the first time since then and now I remember why I said that !!!
I also had placed an order with Koi Gardens. After I received this mess from Wayside, I emailed Jerome at Koi and canceled my order. He answered yesterday and wanted to know why. I haven't answered him yet.

I've never ordered from Jerome, but I have heard nothing but good things about him.
Jana, don't give up on Sherry. Mine looked kinda lame when I got it and it quickly sprouted out some awesome looking growth. If it dies, I'd definately contact them but it may be that they are just selling them a bit sooner than they should. There's a lot of pressure to get it on the market.
JLP are they for sure sold out? I talked with the creator two day's ago and he said that he spoke to the main plant person at Wayside and was assured that there is plenty of stock available. I'd sure like to let him know if you find out differently.

How big was your "sherry" when you got it?
Mine is just a bit over 3" and so weak and has 3 tiny leaves. Several of the other things are just as small . Never again.! I went to Jerry"s Jungle sale in Houston Fri. and found so much ,,,,large healthy plants for good prices,,, and then yesterday I went to Dayton ( small town east of me ) and boy-o-boy. The owner
has mostly hardy plants for our area and I just couldn't help myself !!! Barely had room in my car.
I love Springtime. Now I need a helper to get all these planted.

Mark, I went to the website, and it said old out. I signed up to be notified via email if they have any more in stock. I just checked and it looks like they have more.
I ordered 2 and a week later they sent me an email stating they were sold out and were issuing me a credit.
