Horticopia...Drool....

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Have you seen the Horticopia Reference CD-ROM's? I'm drooling here. Anyone used these? It looks pretty darned neat! I often get links to their site when searching for images of plants, and I finally noticed today that you can purchase the series. They're VERY pricey...Dang it!!

I'd love to have them!!! But which one would you start with? I use that site an awful lot.

Me, too. I hadn't really considered purchasing the CD, I just use their free website. Lots of good information there.

I am afraid that the price is so far beyond my poor budget that I would never be able to affor them unless I hit the lottery! I have used the free site and wondered what the paid for ones would be like! Sigh, oh well I guess they just are not priced for the masses.

That's an understatement! Someone in the landscaping could write it off as a business expense, though...Hmmmmmmm..... Naah, I never have that kind of dough to plunk down on anything, no-how! Aaaaargh, Shoe and Mystic are rubbin' off on me!

Well, if (when) we pool the tremendous gardening knowledge that exists at DG, our own database would far surpass all others, and it'd be right here at your fingertips, at no cost.
